Legislative changes: with effect from 6 April 2019, section 8 of the ERA 1996 was amended to include a requirement for all pay statements to contain information regarding the number of hours worked by an employee where the employee’s pay varies as a consequence of the time worked. In addition, the right to receive an itemised pay statement is extended to all workers.
