CAN A PERSON DOMICILED IN A EU MEMBER STATE BE A LITIGANT IN PERSON IN THE ENGLISH COURTS?

We just have enquired if a person domiciled in a EU Member State can be a litigant in person in the English Courts! What do you think?

Actually, we have been unable to locate anything to state that a claimant domiciled outside the jurisdiction would not be able to be a litigant in person. Note that if the claimant were to receive legal advice from a foreign lawyer in proceedings in the English courts, the costs of such legal advice would not be recoverable.
For more information see:  Litigants in person—terminology and representation.
