SERVICE OF CLAIM BY EMAIL

If you are thinking of serving court proceedings, you must confirm with the solicitors acting for your opponent that they WILL ACCEPT SERVICE BY EMAIL. In a  recent case the court dismissed an argument because there was not a sufficient indication in writing of the defendant’s willingness to accept service by email.
