The Department for Transport (DfT) and Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) has published new guidance for drivers. Subjects covered in this guidance include a temporary relaxation of the enforcement of the retained EU drivers’ hours rules in England, Scotland and Wales for drivers involved in the international carriage of goods by road and between Great Britain and Northern Ireland, due to ‘exceptional pressures’ on the freight industry as a result of the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic...
