BREXIT - TECHNICL NOTE ON UK STATE AID IN "NO-DEAL" SCENARIO

Hi, it's Deborah and Euzi! On 23 August 2018, the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy published a series of technical notices advising businesses and the public on how to prepare for the possibility that the UK leaves the EU in March 2019 with no agreement in place. The notice on State aid sets out how the State aid rules will apply in the UK in the event of a no-deal Brexit, explaining that the government will create a UK-wide subsidy control framework to ensure continuing control of anti-competitive subsidies, with the CMA taking on the role of enforcement and supervision for the whole of the UK from 29 March 2019.
