Hi, it’s Deborah and Euzi
A two-year pilot to bring migrant workers to UK farms has been announced by the Department for Environment,
Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) and the Home Office, and means fruit and vegetable farmers will be able to employ
non-EU migrant workers for seasonal work for up to six months. The measure aims to alleviate labour shortages
on farms during peak production periods.
