CLICK-WRAP CONSUMER TERMS

Hi, it’s Deborah and Euzi Would you like to find out what happened when a person played an Instant Win Game (a game of chance whose outcome is predetermined by at the point of purchase) in which at the end of the game, due to a software error, two sets of matched numbers were displayed, one with a £10 prize and one with a £1m prize? The predetermined outcome of the game was a win of £10, but the player claimed a prize of £1m and sought summary judgement on the claim, arguing that terms on which the player relied were not incorporated into the contract and/or were unfair under the Unfair Terms in Consumer Contracts Regulations 1999. Watch the following clip to find out the Judge’s decision: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b0Mkydu8vj4&ab_channel=RoyalCourtsofJusticeCourt69 #legaladvicefordivorcematters #legaladviceforlandlordandtenantmatters #legaladviceforemploymentmatters #mackenziefriend #helpingyoutopreparetoattendatcourt #affordablelawforyou #bespokelegaladvice
