CHANGES TO THE MENTAL CAPACITY ACT 2005

Hi, it's Deborah and Euzi Did you know that the Government has recently published a new draft of the Mental Capacity Act 2005 (‘the Act’)? The draft MCA sets out the legal framework for people who lack capacity to make decisions for themselves, or who have capacity and want to make preparations for a time when they may lack capacity in the future. It also sets out who can make decisions, in which situations, and how they should go about this.
