In light of deep concerns over the Brexit deal is not approved by 12 March 2019, the government will seek parliamentary consent for a no deal exit. If that is not approved, the government will then bring a further motion asking whether Parliament wishes to seek a short extension to Article 50, which the government will implement if approved. The implication is that any extension, if it gets to this point, would not run beyond June 2019.
