BRISTOL UNIVERSITY FOUND GUILTY OF FAILINGS OVER DEATH OF STUDENT
SPERM DONOR AND PARENTAL RESPONSIBILITY
Hi, it's Deborah and Euzi
Ladies, are you looking at undertaking any sort of fertility arrangement? Please, be very careful to involve a professional clinic instead of a private arrangement. In a recent case a man had been making private arrangements with women who wanted children to be a sperm donor for them. However, what this man failed to do was to tell the women his intentions of applying for parental responsibility and that he suffered from ‘Fragile X syndrome’, a genetic and inheritable condition which causes a range of developmental problems including learning difficulties and cognitive impairment.

GETTING HELP AND COMPENSATION IF YOU WERE ABUSED AS A CHILD
Hi, it's Deborah and Euzi
If you were abused as a child, you can get specialist support to help you deal with what happened and you might also be able to get financial compensation.
There are 3 ways you can get compensation:
by making a legal claim against your abuser in the Civil Court, which is known as ‘suing’ them
through the Criminal Court if your abuser is convicted
from the Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority
